When love speaks more than one language, the day feels extra magical — and Kristen and Stefano’s wedding was the perfect example of that. From their heartfelt bilingual ceremony to emotional speeches and a dance floor full of joy, May 24, 2025, was a day to celebrate!
The day kicked off early at The Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel, The Depot, where Kristen and her bridal party got glammed up in the bridal suite. Taylor Marie Artistry’s team (Sara on makeup and Daphne on hair) brought everyone’s wedding day look to life with ease, while a breakfast spread of bagels, pastries, and fruit kept energy levels up. Meanwhile, the guys arrived around 10:30 a.m. for a relaxed morning before the action started.
Jagger from Summit Hill Studios was on-site to capture every detail — from Kristen’s dress and accessories to candid moments between friends. Dan Riggs, also from Summit Hill Studios, was filming the magic throughout the day to create a film they will cherish forever.
Reverie Floral delivered stunning personal flowers followed by final touches and portraits before the crew headed to the ceremony.
The ceremony took place at the beautiful Church of the Incarnation in Minneapolis, where the atmosphere was reverent, warm, and full of anticipation. Father Kevin welcomed everyone in English, Spanish, and Italian, setting the tone for a ceremony rich in culture and love.
The processional was as elegant as it was meaningful. Stefano escorted his mom, Lorena, while Kristen walked down the aisle with her father, Lou, to “Some Day My Prince Will Come.” The Roma Duo provided beautiful ceremony music.
Father Kevin’s homily was heartfelt and poetic. He spoke about names — Stefano, Kristen, and even their shared last name, Consiglio — weaving a story about dignity, light, compassion, and good counsel. The bilingual vows were a highlight, with Kristen and Stefano promising love and loyalty in both English and Spanish. The entire church responded with “Lord, hear our prayer” and “Escúchanos, Señor,” creating a true sense of community.
After the ceremony, the couple and their wedding party hopped on the trolley back to The Depot for portraits. Family and couple photos wrapped up in time for Kristen and Stefano to sneak away to the Charles Frost Room for a private moment — complete with prosecco, water, and a sweetheart platter — and to bustle the dress.
Guests gathered in the Winter Garden for cocktail hour while DJ Rheo from Beats Boutique set the tone for the evening with laid-back tunes. Signature hors d’oeuvres like Depot BLTs and Camisole Cheese Croissants were passed around, and the couple made an early appearance to greet guests.
At 7:30 p.m., the party officially kicked off with the grand entrance. The wedding party was introduced to the Formula One theme song before Kristen and Stefano made their debut to a remix of “Higher Love.” Immediately after, they cut their cake from Buttercream and shared a toast to their guests.
Dinner was a delicious mix of Creamed Chicken, Beef Short Rib with Yukon mashed potatoes, and kabobs — served with impeccable service by The Depot staff and coordinated flawlessly by Jenna Culley Events, with special shoutouts to Heidi, Bree, and Sandy for making it all look gorgeous and run smoothly.
The speeches were something else entirely — a series of tearjerkers and laugh-out-loud moments. Kristen’s dad, Lou, kicked it off with humor and heart, recalling the moment he realized Stefano was “a keeper.” Lorena, Stefano’s mom, shared messages from afar that had everyone reaching for tissues. Kristen’s Matrons of Honor, Trish and Tara, offered deep reflections on friendship, loyalty, and unconditional love, while Fluvio, Stefano’s best man, brought a perfect mix of comedy and sincerity.
Kristen and Stefano’s first dance was to “Unforgettable” by Nat King Cole — and unforgettable it was. Father-daughter and mother-son dances followed, leading into an epic dance party that officially kicked off around 9:00 p.m. Late-night snacks of sliders, pizza, cookies, and more kept guests energized for the wild finale: La Hora Loca, a high-energy, costume-filled “crazy hour” that had everyone on their feet.
This wedding wasn’t just a party — it was a fusion of traditions, languages, and lives. Kristen and Stefano’s day honored both of their cultures, their families, and their story. From the personalized details like vintage phone guest books and a globe for guests to sign, to the emotional vows and speeches, every part of the day felt intentional.
And thanks to an incredible team — including Jenna Culley Events, Reverie Floral, Linen Effects, Roma Duo, DJ Rheo, Buttercream, and the Summit Hill Studios photo + video crew — the entire celebration flowed seamlessly from start to finish.
Kristen and Stefano, thank you for letting us be part of such a meaningful day. May your life together be as joy-filled, bilingual, and beautifully intentional as your wedding day.
